I love simple, delicious AND filling recipes. This is one of my favourites and one which I use weekly, especially in summer. It is also a great hormone balancing recipe containing LOTS of Vitamins (A, B9, C, E, K1) and Minerals (Calcium, Potassium, Magnesium, Iron, Zinc), read further to find out more.

Hormone Balancing Sweet Potato Salad


This hormone balancing sweet potato salad is a great addition for a summer barbecue or on a cold winters evening paired with a piece of grilled chicken. Full of vitamins and minerals this salad will give you that boost of energy that you are looking for.


Serves 2-3

Prep Time 20 mins

Cooking Time 60 mins


Ingredients 1kg Sweet Potato Peeled & Chopped into Small Cubes 200g Spinach 1/2 Cup Almonds Chopped in Half 100g Goats Cheese or Feta 1 Tablespoon Olive Oil 1 Tablespoon Parsley 1 Teaspoon Salt 1 Teaspoon Pepper


Directions Preheat Oven to 180 degrees. Evenly spread sweet potato on baking paper and oven tray. Sprinkle olive oil, parsley, salt and pepper over the top. Cook in oven for 25-30mins, remove and rotate mixture, place back in oven for another 25-30mins or until roasted. ​Place chopped almonds onto pan for 5mins or until golden. ​Mix ingredients all together. Serve warm or let cool/store in fridge for later.
